Supply list for back to school

Kindergarten Supply List

2012-2013

As a school community, students will share the following items in each classroom.  Please do not label your child’s name. We ask that you bring these items in on the orientation day or first day of school.

  30 yellow #2 Pencils – pre-sharpened please – no special colors or designs, please

  2 Packages of thick washable markers (classic colors)

  2 Packages of crayons (classic colors)

  2 Packages of colored pencils (classic colors)

  3 Glue sticks

  1 Bottles of liquid school glue

  1 Pair of child safety scissor

  2 Pump-bottles of hand soap

  3 Rolls of paper towels

  2 Boxes of tissues

  1 Packages of baby wipes or household cleaning wipes (non-toxic, child safe)

  1 Box sandwich-sized Ziploc bags

  1 Box gallon-sized Ziploc bags

  3 Marble composition notebooks (black and white)

  5 Folders (twin/two-pocket laminated (hard/ plastic) folders)-1 of each of the following colors- Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, and Green

The following items would be very helpful for us to have in the classroom, but they are optional.  If you feel you cannot provide these items, they are not mandatory to bring.  However, any of the items below would be greatly appreciated and very helpful!  We will be using them for special projects, student work displays, and other school assignments.

  • White paper (8 ½ x 11 – copy, printer, or drawing paper is fine)
  • Velcro (rolls, strips, or dots are all fine)
  • Scotch tape
  • Masking tape
  • Clear packing tape
  • Pink erasers (rectangle shape)
  • Sharpies (chisel or regular tip – especially black)
  • 1 Pack of Black dry erase markers

Notes:

  • Please do not send in any pencil cases or pencil sharpeners.
  • We recommend book bags without hard handles or rolling wheels.  They do not fit in the closet.

First Grade Supply List

2012-2013

 One solid-colored pocket folder (paper, no plastic please)
